we found some people who were happy to welcome us into their homes, even offering us food and drink.. sometimes, they would flag us down and ask for the magazines, walk miles to the kh meetings, come to our defense if someone got ugly or rude.. now, jw's are either routinely ignored or outright vilified.. no one respects them anymore.. sad.. .
I remember in my teenage years through early twenties ( 20-22 ) it was fun . Parties ( gatherings lol ), getting at girls at the assemblies, chilling with you 'friends', but I think after a certain age they want you to take the next step like M.S, Pioneer, ect .
did you notice that some jw's men and women tried to bring in new people just to marry them ?
i saw this with my brother about the year 2001. he met this girl off some chat line.
he liked her, but it was one big problem; she wasn't a jw.
I had to bump this thread because of more stories .
when the co visits a cognregation this semester, a special meeting with elders and mss is sceduled tuesday night, right after the normal meeting.
does anyone know what this meeting is about?
this special meeting is held at the beginning of the co-week, and is different from the standard meeting with personnel which is held friday evening.
It's funny that it's takes the CO for the 'elders' to do their job lol. Because aren't they supposed to meet with the disfellowshipped and inactive every year ?
well i went on a date saturday, and while i was walking to to the restaurant i see one of the 'elders' in one of my old congregations ( central compton ) walked past me real fast .
i realized it was one of the 'elders' who protected the 'elder' who held my card ( other story ) for 8 months .
well to make the long story short other witness came, and where scared to see me back in town lol.
On a better note I'm going to meet her again for lunch on Saturday .

Sorry for the long wait everyone people . Anyway more witnesses came and when they saw me they didn't know what to do lol like they didn't want to go in the restaurant when they saw me . Now I'm thinking they better not come to my table trying to 'encourage' me to return knowing that I've been out five years now . When I first got disfellowshipped I was begging for encouragement( please read my past posts and comments ), but these people treated me like crap and started rumors about me . Ok back to the date, so I'm watching these people and I'm laughing in my head on how these people wouldn't even look at me and I'm looking at them . Well I see them zoom past in fear and to there tables lol . Another thing they didn't have their wives with them, but I didn't think they were cheating .
